ladies and gents. a question for those who have access to statistics. HIV/AIDS is an STD. from what i know of the virus, it is harder to transmit than STD's because of it's preference for the bloodstream. but then if it has spread so rapidly in Africa, has there been a corresponing rapid rise in the number STD's. i think that if some STD's spread easier than HIV, then we should have had twice as many reported at clinics if the spread of HIV/AIDS can make sense.
i know many people who have never had any kind of STD, but they have gone to take a test and been found HIV positive. does this make sense? is it easier nowadays to get HIV/AIDS than it is to get STD's? if so, what happened to the balance, especially since hIV/AIDS is more recent that most STD's. has one disease won out over the others, or is it just a case of lack of reporting of the increaee of the others since most are curable. what about the other easier to transmit and non curable STD's like some forms of herpies... have they also increased the same way HIV/AIDS has. i mean i still see very few Africans walking around looking yellowish in parts of their bodies.
anyone have some statistics?

| BTW, i know of the reason for the distinction between STD (sexually transmitted diseases), and the now more acceptable STI (sexually transmitted infection). i find the move from the first to the second rather dubious. it looked to me like an attempt to accomodate the new strain of pathogenes that could not be directly, but indirectly linked to the resulting affliction, a good example being the HIV/AIDS virus that is not a disease, but paves the way for infections and diseases because it causes the imune system to ail and fail. My take on the whole HIV issue is i see the scenario as I have never taken a test and never will as I find it extremely strange that black seem to have it more than anyone especially in Africa another attempt to bring us down we obviously are great or they would not be trying so hard to mess us up split us up by trying to make white women look or appear to look or are better than us as i state we black people are the greatess on the earth and the sun is our friend. they tell us that there are not many of us we are seen as a minority when in fact there are millions of us they meaning non coloured people white are the minority and hopefully the whole world will wake up and see that and then things can change hopefully for the better, but the chinese better mind out as the whites are watching them good.
back to the topic scenario: when people go to the drs it is then that they have HIV. by putting a time limit on how the virus stays in your body and symptoms dont show or if they do they are like common symptoms that most people suffer from maybe due to stress or lack of sunlight. the white dr or black one the pathologist could be white. they tell you have HIV you listen they then say take this combination of drugs which unknown to you contain the HIV virus and there you have it. balck people have the disease more than others. the only way they can get to us is through sex it sellls well in our musicc more than anyother music, they try and get to the chinese with the bird flu but when ever there is a breakout of the birdflu the chinese lock down there country if you were in before it broke out you have to stay until it has been eradicated otherwise it will affect others and therfore mash up the econmic structure of the chinese as noone would want to do business with them. i know i went on a tangent but it had to be said
dont go and get a test unless you are fainting and are really sickly these people will murder us remember that they took chains from our bodies not our minds by saying this and that about HIV sets our minds the way they want us to think.

i have always had my suspions, i think they are trying to kill us out
i hate receiving injections or giving blood *them needles could have the aids virus within them,
it's like when you make an appoinement, you got to fill in untold personaal information
AIDS does nt discriminate!
as most doctors are white or asain nothing is impossiable in them trying to eradicate us 
like joy said
dont go to the doctors till you feel ill and your inside's or bits are dropping off
cos them MOFO 's might be killing us with the so-called medication thats meant to heal us.
its all about natuaral remedies like in the good ole days of africa!

when you look at the statistic on Africa, you will be struck by the fact that infection rates for HIV/AIDS are quite close to other STI's. what's strange about this is HIV/AIDS is a new disease, so how come it has performed better than others that have been around for longer? it's true HIV/AIDS has no cure, but this cannot be used as an argument for the rapid spread because the same is true of many other STI's, like some strains of HERPIES or GENITAL WARTS. how come these diseases have not gained ground as quickly as HIV/AIDS has in Africa? they are after all spread through the same sexual intercourse channel.
anyway, as for medication that actually causes HIV/AIDS by destroying the imune system, we already have Nevirapine. but i think the most used methods of birth control in Africa are not medications, but vaccines, imported soaps that can be laced with infertility substances, condoms that come with lubricants that can easily be contaminated with substances that either cause infertility or damage the imune system, etc. etc; what we should be looking out for is anything that can either be ingested or absorbed by the body that is imported from countries with a long history of waging covert war against Africans. we must remember we do not produce even simple things like razor blades, or condoms in Africa, so they can become channels of controlling our population if some person gets the idea, and, trust me, the CIA and such like are way ahead where such tactics are concerned. they have been doing it for ages.

| as for blacks here in the west, avoiding free stuff (free condoms), blacks only stuff (bleaching creams, soaps, etc.) and not being too believing and easy with doctors (they are not Gods, they cannot cure everything. just look at Micheal Jackson's face) and injections (they might have put something in it before they draw your blood), etc. buy anything that you eat or might get absorbed into your body through the skin from the places where everybody buys their stuff, ie blacks, whites and Indians places.

There probably IS a lot of STDs also, but since they don't kill or inflict as much damage to the body as HIV....they aren't talked about as much.
Also people tend not to seek treatment for minor STDs as much and they aren't reported.
But I still believe that the primary reason for the high rate of HIV in Africa is because of injection by medical teams in the form of contaminated vaccines.

Read Duesberg he made some very interesting findings with regard to AIDS in Africa, also sometimes they are using illnesses such as TB and Cervical cancer to diagnose the HIV/ AIDS virus...
and in one particular study, people who had been told that they had the virus 50% were found to be HIV negative... although Avert do their best some of the statistics they have ***well*** the data collation is negligible...

I can believe this because most people don't understand the relationship between HIV and actual AIDS itself.
AIDS = ACQUIRED Immunce Deficiency Syndrome.
So having AIDS simply means that your immune system is deficient.
The HIV virus was artificially engineered and designed to destroy the immune system but AIDS itself can be caused by almost any major illness that wears the body out from the flu to cancer.
Malnutrition by itself can technically give one AIDS because the body doesn't have enough resources to produce and adequate defense against infection.
