Help- I'm looking to have my 25th birthday party at an african restaurant (preferably nigerian), based in east london area (not Hackney!) that will open till very late, and have a dance area too...Does anyone have any ideas of names and telephone numbers please. As I'm not based there most times, its hard to find these things personally, and all the ones I know of are in south....

Gracias!

Try ringing up BEN televion. They advertise quite a number of Nigerian restaurants on their channel.

Just went to a Ghanian restaurant called  MANJARO BAR + KITCHEN on Holloway Road. Place was wicked. Contempary vibe/look. They have food/bar/club all in one. Met/partied with some wonderful people whilst I was there, and my friend and I both loved the food! This place has lots of potential and from what I have heard is very popular and judging from good friday/90's night we went, am in no way surprised!

Address/contact details ...

148 Holloway Road, Islington, London, N7 8DD  Map
Telephone: 020 7609 2082

Urbane_gyal: try Obalende's Suya Spot. Its either North or East London. There's a website, put the name in your search engine.

Obalende has a number of chains. They were first in Elephant &Castle for a few years before they opened a bigger one in Peckham, than Dalston
