New to London where can I find a good hair salon? North, South, East and West I will go anywhere.
Hair is breaking and frizzy! I would really like to find an upmarket salon and somewhere that does a good bikini wax!

| I go to a salon called Camilles in Bush Hill Park, North London. She is excellent however, she doesn't do waxing. Alternatively there is a good hair dresser near Walthamstow Tube on St. Mary Road, all the hairdressers in there are male which is a bit of a novelty but it always looks packed when I walk past so it must be good and plus you don't have the fear of a jealous woman cutting off your hair! There is a Dermalogica beautician directly opposite that I go to that does waxing and other beauty treatments (they are particularly good at eyebrow waxing which I am addicted to now and they do fantastic facials). Hope this helps.

| I go to the Buty Salon for my waxes. There is a branch in Hammersmith and Fulham, you can try http://www.butysalon.com for prices and info on their treatments. For hairdressers I go to http://www.hypecoiffure.co.uk they are award winning, and you get a good style, but sometimes there is a bit of a wait!! | The one in Walthamstow is 2 minutes walk from Walthamstow Tube and Train stations. Camilles is a bit harder to get to as transport in Enfield is quite patchy. You would need to go to Enfield Town Train station and get a W8 bus or a 329 (both are 10 minutes drive)
