| i almost forgot to say also look outside fo london. there are some decent big cities in the midlands birmingham nottingham manchester etc and you can do your equestrian sports. as the midlands always has a field or two near by

LOL/ woman wants to leave the states to increase her chances of a viable black man. Fair enough.
woman wants to leave the states to look for a white man because white men dont like black women there. WTF?
Which white man in this country would want to take on a black child. Its not something I can see Ive seen more than twice.. i.e white man walking hand in hand with black woman and "their " black child.
Sorry to riculcule your post but classical music and afternoon tea..LOL..what do they think they will come her and mix with white aristocrats..

DO NOT BOTHER....! I am trying to get away from the U.K
The lifestyle in england is work work work work work......come home to a £200,000 house that ain't worth a fraction of what you could get in the states for that amount of money...! There's not much to do...The place is miserable and boring....Rain, rain, rain, rain.....all the time..! London is alright though...If you do come, go to london..! But aside from everywhere else, england is too damn expensive....you will come here and be paying double, triple the price for the smallest of things that you could get back home, from eating out, clothes, leisure, everything..! England ain't nothing special, theres just no life here, it's not vibrant in many places. I think that if you come, it will definatly teach you to appreciate the U.S more. And bwoy, you are going to miss the weather..!
There is a real bad situation of debt here in the U.K, because it's so hard for people to afford the most simple things here in the U.K !

You enter the place of name you like to find out about. It brings the results of the nearest schools, the prices of houses, the average salaries for that area and the crime rates in the area. This is a very good site, it gives you the opportunity to see which areas you like to live in.
To tell you the truth I find London to be very expensive. Living outside London would be better but at the same time commuting in London can be very very stressfull.

Crystal,
Make sure that you take several trips to UK before you make that final decision to leave the US. Do a lot of research, and talk to ppl currently living there and those that have left the UK and migrated elsewhere.
I go to London several times a year for business and trust me...the cost of living is ...off the chain ..
At one point, London was voted the second most expensive place to live in the world (2004).
EXPENSIVE!!!!!It's little wonder that ppl dont get charged for the very air they breath over there!! It seems that they are taxed and fined for the littliest things.
VAT (tax) - 17.5% on everything-WOW!! That's a hell of a lot considering that much smaller tax rate AMericans pay from state to state in the US.
I even heard that if u are parked in the parking lot of Asda(WALMART) for too long you will be subject to getting a car fine as well. (My british brothers and sisters correct me if I am wrong on this one please)!!
WEATHER!!!!- interesting needless to say... rainy and damp a lot of times though.
But
- Multicultural mix is beautiful.
-You tend to get all sorts of holiday time off...not the typical 2 weeks of vacation time we are allotted in the corporate world in the US. I believe it is more like 4 weeks or more of holiday time a year..(I DO ENVY THE UK ON THIS ONE!!)..plus bank holidays!! A helluva a good base for the travelling type.

Everyone wants to go some place else.
Well lookee here. It's the same everytwhere.
People saying they want to move to the US should prepare themselves for abject disappointment. It's a terrible place to live. Probably the worst place on earth to be black.
The UK's a lot more tame in this regard, but trust me. You'll soon get a feeling of deja vu.
You can't escape.
What most black people don't understand is that this world isn't really meant for you. The white race is inexorably gearing up to dispense with the services of blacks. This is happening everywhere. Europe is no safe bet and while the UK may seem like sanctuary now, the cards on the table do not show great omens. They want to introduce ID cards and unwarranted arrests.
And this idea of dating non-Blacks, or wanting to fit into the white man's world. Drop it now. You're only wasting years of your life. You'll come to realize this in the end.
If I were you I'd be looking to hole up in a cave on a high mountain as opposed to jumping from a frying pan into a fire.

SISTER,
I am in England and it's not just the weather that is killing me!!!! It is raining all the time, one minute it's sunny/warm, the next it's a thunderstorm with ICE falling out of the sky (a little bit like the people)
My friend has cut short her 3 month visit to two months because the weather is driving her crazy!!!
And how hard it is to find TRUE friends, everyone in this town seems to know me, my King man and our daughter, but I don't know them!!!! The gossip is rife, the racism is driving me insane,
at my daughter's nursery I heard some girl mouthing off about the people who spoke other languages apart from English and she said 'I don't want my daughter coming home speaking that blagadagabla s**t to me' in front of my face when I was sat right in front of her and she knows my husband's first language is not English,
Seriously, sister, the grass is not greener, it is full of weeds and dog s**t, sorry to be blunt, but I was thinking of moving to the US-
PUT ME OFF BEFORE I MAKE ANOTHER MISTAKE!!!
seriously though, the grass can be greener, but it depends on who you are and how you cope with it. I personally wouldn't recommend it but I have no idea what it's like where you are!!! Maybe your grass is full of weeds too!!!
Good luck, and never say never because I know people who love it, but more who hate it here.

When they realise that at the end of the day, a lot more than 80% of the power is 'owned' by a lot less than 20% of the wolrld population, you'll find that even whites are opting out and running to the mountains, believe me!!!
What a shame you've not been to this dreadful little town, you will find many black sisters with white husbands and black/white kids and their dads are no different to any other dad. It's true that you see more black men with white women, but don't tell me that just because a man is white he will abandon his family!!! If you think blackmen don't do that you're either blind or generalising, MEN do that,
-and not all men do that, just some, don't put your gender down, there are plenty of good men out there and good women too, I wish the world wasn't so cynical, that's half the problem. If you go into something with a bad attitude, it's gonna fail.
But I agree with you in many aspects, I saw one article telling all JWs to run to the hills because it's armageddon, I thought, maybe they're right.

hmm, i am not a Black female, lol, I am a young black male, looking to expand my horizons. I am thinking about moving either temporarily, or permanently(not sure), to either London, or maybe the Middle East(Dubai) UAE. I heard from my mum it's a nice place to live... But I want to probably open a branch of a business over in London, But from a balck person's perspective, How is it?
