|
i am getting an upgrade. my digi cam is only 3mp and i need to upgrade
how many megapixels should i aim for.
i was considering 7mp
oh yeah i can only get a fuji or olympus only because i already have olympus and i cant be bothered to have to get different memory cards.
i am considering this on amazon for £119 
what do you think?

| I say try before you - the specification doesn't always justify itself. 7MP will be a good solid investment on the grounds that Nokia has entered the phone market with a 5MP camera phone - N95 - 3MP cameras are slowly flooding the phone market and 5's will do the same within 12 months. As to brands I prefer Olympus only because I have trusted them since day with the old school cameras that took a good photos. That said see which one takes the better pic at the same resolution.

Here's the camera I have. Its only a 3.2 mega pixels camera but it still rates amongst one of the best cheap digital cameras out there.....

my current is an olympus 3.1mp so i am aiming for a higher spec

Any camera below 5.0 megapixels is a waste of money.
An Olympus FE-115 is a good buy, I got mine for £65
