Hi folks For any academics/students out there, I wonder if you have any advice on mental blocks?
I am writing an essay and I am nearly finished but I just can't seem to actually finish it, I am having a serious mental block. Any tips on how to get over this?

Hi Lilthuggy, long time, I hope you are well.
Mental blocks - yeah, what a hinderance. When I get this I tend to focus on a different area of that particular work or I just leave it alone - maybe you need to sleep or eat and allow the juices to flow again - refresh! This has worked for me. If sleep is not an option - time constraints, try reading what you have done thus far, as this will help to focus your mind on your main points. Good luck,

@Lilthuggy. Occupational hazard. Either leave the work to sit for a while or start working on something else or do what I am doing right now get out your best or most inspirational CD's and just blast music..
It will come back to you. Always does....
You don't have to finish work sequentially. i am usually working on three things at a time. When I am creatively drained or dry just switch to something else or get out your fav music collection and just start blasting..
