My youngest child has been slowly losing the colour in his skin for the past 3 years.
He has one patch on his thumb which resembles vitiligo, but the rest of his body is just gradually getting lighter.
Family members have now noticed, esp because his feet are close to being completely white, the rest of him is a 'red skin' colour when he started off with a medium complexion.
I have taken him to the Doctors, with no joy except "bring him back if you are concerned or if any other patches appear". They seem to disbelieve that the whole body is changing at the same time as vitilgo usually appears in patches.
I was wondering if any of you have any experience or knowledge of vitilgo, or anything similar to shed some light on my son's condition.
He is otherwise well, not prone to colds or illness usually.
