I am single and find going certain places on my own a bit of a bore. Any suggestions of what I can do for fun as a single gal in london. Any websites would be greatful. I am not wishing to date as present just a single gal wanting to have fun.

what about those london open-air bus tours when the weather is nice.
it's a good way to learn some historic facts about london and take pics of all the sights.
you can buy the tickets in leiceister sq.

Maybe if you could give people an idea of the kind of things you find enjoyable, they could make suggestions more based on what constitutes fun for you rather than what constitutes fun for them......ya get me?

What Backatya said and also BP's suggestion is actually great, not only do you get to exercise and feel good about yourself, you can also check out the eye candies and "Laugh at some" of them. Where in the world do you get three in one entertainment but the gym?  .
Oh yeh i have also met some good friends at the gym. win, win i say

Not really. Trocadero is cool if you want to enjoy yourself on the cheap. It ain't what it used to be but it's still a decent escape.

i suppose it depends on what interests you and what you consider fun really.
i sympathise with you as i split up with my x in feb and since then my closest friends have found love and pissed off so you kinda have to get on and do your own thing. work is keeping me busy at the mo, so i don't really mind. you haven't responded as yet though.

Back in the day I've actually MET a few girls in Trocadero who'd be playing on those machines just as aggresively as the next man! LOL!! I guess nowadays if you're single it's better to just go there in a group.

Sorry I have taken so long to respond. hectic week at work. Thx for the suggestions as well.
I am an excercise junkie already and hit the gym four days a week and I go to a womans health suite on Sundays to relax at the suana.
I like high enery stuff like Paintballing for example or going on fun rides to Chessington world of Adventures. But it's activities like this where you can't go by yourself. Oh and I am not that young. Fast approaching 30 btw.

Volunteering......yup help people for free, some people enjoy this......lonely people, sad people.
Go hunting for homeless Chinese people......like trying to find the Holy Grail this task.
Masturbation....the most obvious and childish suggestion....fnar, fnar.
Become an Undertaker. Actually quite a nice and peaceful job.
Play Golf. Quite similar to being an Undertaker, but without the pesticides.
Develop an obsession with a celebrity, and then stalk them.
Join various feminist groups, to be with other single women, they'll keep you forever entertained.
Get in hideous amounts of debt.
Become a Goth, and just hang about town....get depressed about it and then self harm.
Dishout justice to random strangers......Phonebooth style. A sniper rifle, wit and a phone is all you need.
Become an animal rights activist/terrorist.
Open a mink farm.
Go hunting for animal rights activists/terrorists.
Pretend to be 10 years old and join the Girl Guides, or Brownies.
Become a Girl Guide/brownie leader.
Boredom?......The world, an adventure playground. The people, your playthings.

| HEY YOGI I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM, JUST TURNED SINGLE AFTER 5 YEARS, 25 AND NOW I WANT TO LIVE INSTEAD OF EXIST. WE HAVE ONLY BROKEN UP FOR A FEW WEEKS AND I HAVE ALREADY BOOKED A TWO HOLIDAY'S TO MOROCCO AND TUNISIA WITH TWO DIFFERENT SETS OF FRIENDS. I WORK IN A SCHOOL AND IN RETAIL, I GO UNI AND DO VOLUNTEER WORK, I LOVE THE GYM AND SAUNA BUT LIKE YOU I STILL LONG FOR EXCITEMENT. ITS AMAZING HOW BUSY OUR LIVES OUR AND WE JUST WANT MORE AND MORE AND MORE, HUMANS ARE NEVER SATISFIED FOR ME I REALLY WANT MORE FRIENDS. I LOVE THE ONES I HAVE BUT TO BE HONEST THEY ARE MOSTLY BROKE WITH KIDS AND I HAVE MONEY AND NO KIDS SO YOU CAN SEE MY DILEMMA. I THOUGHT OF LOOKING IN ADS IN THE COLUMN SEEKING FRIENDS BUT IN THIS DAY AND AGE IS IT SAFE??? WHAT DO YOU DO ALREADY?? MAYBE YOU SHOULD START A HOBBIE YOU CAN DO ALONE? THIS YEAR I THOUGHT OF STARTING BELLY DANCING SINCE ITS DIFFERENT AND TRIED EVERYTHING ELSE INCLUDING SALSA AND LEARNING A NEW LANGUAGE. MY FUN IS SMOKING WEED IM AFRAID IN THE EVENINGS BUT ENGLAND IS MAD BORING ITS NOT LIKE ABROAD, MAN IF WE HAD A BEACH COULD YOU IMAGINE???
