| I've got a Zanussi.....but if I had money I'd buy a Bosch... I would definately go for a machine with a high spin speed, that has a high capacity to take big loads and with a door that opens right back. I'd definately advise that you get one that is economic with water and doesn't shake the place to bits when it goes into its spin cycle.......... Personally i avoid Machines with too many gadgets and lights because they are hell to fix if they break..

You should choose one that suits your household.
Do you use cloth/terry nappies?
If so a powerful one is recommended; one that can pre-wash. Read the specs on the labels, then decide from there. The environment is important, so perhaps you'd wanna think about the economy element of the machine.
I've had so many machines but the one I've got now is a Zunnusi Aquacycle, which is not bad.
The best one I've ever had was called Electrolux or a similar name. I don't think they make them any more.

One will a 1200 spin hover is good because there British so the parts aren't too expensive.
I suggest that you go to John Lewis you get a two years warrenty and the customer serivce is great.
stay away from comet and places like that cos they dont give a toss about there customers
One with a hand wash service.

No less then £250 you need a good brand then they last for ages
Diff a 1200 spin for whites
I personally wouldn't go for and indesit.
Bosch are the best but I couldn't afford one
Don't do to Argos

Argos customer service stinks... it has taken them almost a month to refund money for goods I never received.
If you can go Bosch - the first one that we had lasted 10 years. The second is 4 years in now. In all the time we had the first one it was serviced just once. Longer term with cost and maintenance although expensive at first - in the long run they are cost effective.

The good news is that Zanussi bought Electrolux and they are still about.
Ladyday - Both Zanussi and Electrolux are good brands. Not sure about prices now, cos my machine is about 6 years old. I think you'll be looking at about £300 +, but then again the sales are still on so you might get a good deal. Sometimes they do packages with the machine and the dryer. My mate is raving about Miele, but they are quite pricey. Good idea to take out the extended warranty, that will come in very useful in a few years time. It really saved my bacon when someone left their watch in their pocket (not me) and it was destroyed in the machine!
