maybe because they are not sure how the woman feels about them.fear of lookin fool or maybe even putting them off.you have to realise that men are stuborn and even blind to how deeply the lady they are with truely feel about them.its only when men feel safe with their partner that they treuly reviel thier deep feelings.

Many reasons why. But remember, men have egos and these are fragile things. How much a man expresses his feelings is partly due to how he sees or has seen, other men express their love for the women in their lives. A good positive father figure helps here.

Films, mags, books and TV do not really help. You could always try asking your man or you could lead by example, BUT-

The two questions you should be asking yourself are-
Why do I feel such a need to know the answer to this question
Why does my partner not understand why I need to know the answer to this question

They do in their own special way....women are just not particularly good at reading it LOL

Remember real men don't fall in love, we stand up in love :)

Or if they did then the  relationship would be over....Many men have found simply tell a woman want she wants to hear...she doesn't really matter if it's true or not.

Then again maybe the men really aren't feeling it - how many men throw a wobbler when the woman says she's preganant - makes you wonder what they were there for in the first place.

LMAO Incognito speaking from experience:) .

Truthfully because we don't allow it.  Think about it how many times have you heard your girlfriends referring to so and so being a bit soft, just because he talked about his feelings and dared to show emotions?

This is one of the reasons why i personally don't like to tell women things that go on between us (while we are still together anyways :)). Trust me "some" women will find a way to make him seem abnormal and  sissified......... make you loose respect for him :P.  Personally don't believe men are emotionally detached nor do i think they are too scared to talk about their true feelings.

Mostly i blame women for the way most men behave towards us. WE create, maintain and pass on a lot of madness.  If we stood up tomorrow and said..... 'you know what honey i am not putting up with all this male bravado ish, you either be honest and clear with me about your feelings or i am going to assume/take the "oh yea you aight" response as "you are replaceable" and say bye bye'

How long you think that behaviour will last?

Be honest...... most men are the way they are because of the women in their lives.

Abissinia - let's just say I'm very observant :)

I have this saying, a womans perfect man is always the opposite to what she currently has :)

But if you want my personal experience then I'd say my love for my woman is beyond words....but if we want to put it into words then looking deeply into her eyes the closet expression would be 'ah you!' LOL.................followed by, 'now put your knickers on and make me a cup of tea' :D

Incognito you are one in a million... truly disturbing but still one in a million which i thank the higher being for lol.

In all my life i have yet to come across one man like your self, so i am just going to keep on believing that half of what you say is for entertainment purposes only.

Yeah Abs...I worry about myself sometimes. I see myself as a bit of a philosopher and seriously considering taking a psychology course to see if my view of the world is really that weird :)....but hey, one in a million? guess it takes one to know one :)

Just remember what ever happens to you in life, never lose your sense of humour...once that's gone it's all over. My blessing is my curse but I guess my humour is the way it is because I'm too serious about lifeniceone.gif

No thanks.  I am just like everybody else :(.  Except that i have my own principles and guidance i live by, which some might think is a bit bonkers but it is still my own and it works for me.  The difference between you (one in a million) and I (same as every other person on earth) is that my principles, guidance etc is slightly modified from the original one fits all version.  Yours is well your own .

Still i enjoy your sense of humour.

Abs yes most people don't know whether to love me or hate me...can you imagine what the wife, friends and family has/had to put up with. In quite a serious dilemma at the moment in that the one in a million woman for me is 3000 miles away from my children but as always I put my trust in the most high.

Funnily enough I'm totally myself on this site and find my relationships/acquaintences here mirror my real life. But as always, I pride myself on not being the predictable stereotype....keep those mother******s guessing :)

Alright Mez....don't rub it in :)

It is funny that it is said here “that a man’s display of his feelings, is closely linked to the woman/women in his personal life. There is much truth to men hearing a woman cuss out another man as being “soft

I am a man who never has a problem letting the woman I love, know just how much I am loving her and my actions will shout louder than my words and they will show through long before I am heard.

In my experiences, I always think back to one main situation. A woman that cared deeply for, finished with me because she was scared of loving me and scared of me loving her. Six months later, she is back, despite telling me the following things when we were first dating:

    1. You love too much
    2. You are too nice
    3. You are too soft
    4. You care too much

Get the picture. 6mths down the road, she is missing all of that love and wants it back. WHY.. cos the next idiot she hooks up with, is the complete opposite, a charmer but the opposite.

She also had the nerve to ask me “if your so good with women, how come your still single. I replied that it was because I kept hooking up with women like her. “women who don’t love themselves enough to understand why others may love them.

I asked her what I could have done to secure the relationship that I had with her first time round.. she paused and said nothing.. I said to her, your silence answers that question perfectly. There was nothing I could do because you were scared of the very thing you wanted me to say, to show you, be in for you. LOVE.
