i just had a brain wave that i would make some cushions to go with my new sofas to create a kind of ambience. a snuggle up snuggle in feel. soft lighst and candles and you know
anyway does anyone know how to make cushions. i am guessing that for square cushions i get material of choice and colour and sew all but one side completely. syuff away with filling then close.
now is foam best or that soft wool looking stuff
i am serious, this is not the housewife in me honest...............

Why make cushions when you can buy them for less than £10 on sale? ahhh lol ignore me i am just jealous... i can paint, drill, fix things but can't for the life of me understand stitching, sawing and home making things...
Please god make me rich....

Hey ladyday,
Nice one for making yr own home furnishings, its save money and you get to put yr own personal stamp on yr home....I made 8 cushions, 2 pair of curtains, 3 voile tie back curtains and 7 pictures all for less then £30 pound..I also made a table, chair and stool all in leather and cherrywood...Every body who comes to my house asks where i bought em from...makes me proud of my God-given talents to say I did em my self...
You go girl...these are the skills we need to pass onto our daughters and sons...we(africans) are the true creators and designers of civilisation!
