My best friend of thirty years turns 40 tomorrow (1 April 2005) and I've promised to take her somewhere special. BUT I've left it to the last minute. I desperately need to find a nice bar where the two of us can have a good drink and listen to the music we used to dance to in the 80s.

We used to hang out in clubs in East London and follow David Rodigan's music and Lads Construction. (Has anyone heard of them or am I really showing my age?)
