I want to change my surname and I'm trying to find the meaning of these surnames, which region the originate from and whether they are for males or females.

"Matete" "Amokachi" "Amari"

Also if you know of any forums where this is being discussed send me the links, Thanks.

It's a long story, which really don't want to get into at the moment. I want a nice sounding West-african (excluding Nigeria) something ending in an 'ee' sound. Like something similar to Ashanti, Akabusi etc.
