I think it would be better to move on from debating issues raised by other media outlets and have our own where by we can have different people writing certain amount of words explaining their opinion in depth and then it can be discussed
I am not sure how this can be done but still I guess it would be better if MODS come up with something or certain formula
I still believe that blacknet would be a good platform for those who feel that their views and opinions wont be listened by the mainstream media.In otherwords I am not sure about how BLACKNET have value positioned themselves but Iguess if its possible to create chat rooms and so on then it wouldnt be a problem
Deep down I think if blacknet would go back to their drawing board and look at how they position themselves then I have no doubt that it would be a good cashcow in 2 years time through various revenues apart from advertisements who knows it might be a big time media that would stretch beyond expectation
I've been through blackbritains website but something is always missing but for some reason they tend to have many adverts than blacknet..now I am not sure if Trevor Philips is pulling the plug for them or they have sold out completely
anyways I hope there will be some more input on this
just an idea

Coltrane do you mean having a BN member pick a current story which is of interest to us and write an article on it from African/Black perspective and then we discuss it as whole?
Please elaborate more on this idea...

I THINK he means that the blacknet website should have its own media page regarding news that affects us.
If that is what you mean Coltrane we have that already, (its on the first page we come to when we click on to blacknet), but for some reason we don't seem to talk about it much.
I think on blackbritain, they have interactive polls etc., because their news is more upfront.
Or do you mean like a hard copy newspaper/magazine etc?
