Hey Mods....just wondering, I'm very interested in African history and would love to know more about other Africans and African countries(the West Indies etc included). Is there any chance we can have a History Forum? We got the politics and African art forums...but there isn't a way we can all exchange our experiences and knowledge about Africa now and in the past. By knowing the past we might be able to understand where we are at now and how we can move forward.
So can we please have one? Looking forward to your feedback!

If possible... can we pull the stuff from the old BN forum... and use that as the basis... cleaned up of course... without all the crap... as the basis for the new forum...?

Any chance of getting it restored...?

A Black history forum sounds good indeed!
it would be nice to pool all resources here . the black presence site is good
but we should be able to discuss collectively all black history here. there are many topics in blacknet village about history well worth teh addition

@ DM Cheers...didn't see that thread. Tried to do a search but the search facility was playing up on me. Anyway thanks haven't got alot of time to look at the other site but I get the feeling its more about African history in Britain...I was looking for African History...anyway thanks for your help will check out the thread in BN after Christmas...read some off it and it sounds promising.
