| This place needs to be advertised...I've never heard of this place...just ran into it by mistake cause i was doing a search for Blk boards and this place came up...but many blk peeps are not gonna do a search...they are gonna go post @ boards that are popular and that everybody talks. So someone needs to spread the word about this place...cause more blk peeps need to know that there are more blk sites out here on the net like this place...

I might be a bad idea, too many young ignorant kids tend to flood these types of forums with garbage. Everybody knew blackplanet like the back of theire hand.
Now look at it blackplanet, used to have a discussion forum now its gone or if theyt started it again Im sure it's on it's way to hell as I type. If people want to chat here just let them find it on there own.
Advertise it and everybod and there mothers brother will be posting here, and you know how you mods don't like multiple threads. Just think when folks start flocking by the hundreds posting similar topics to the ones already posted.

Obviously now there is somewhat more than five posts per day...
Plus I actually disagree with the author, the Village may have been livelieir but I didn't think that this made it better or interactive.. It is clear given the diverse nature of the age groups, genders, cultures and the topic here now that this version is far better than the previous versions of the Village.. However I did take on board your suggestion and we are in effect broadening the knowledge of this forum by the use of the Villageradio.. which is really going well.

Memyselfni: Well that is interesting, because then I can only ASSume the person experience of this place was when I first started as a MOD..clearly their view is not accurate...As you can see for yourself its hardly dull around here.. nor is their five posts a day, which is why I questioned the date...
I suspect that this person hasn't been here for some considerable time, as for the comments about me.. I'm not too fussed because as it has already been commented upon.. The way I work will polarise opinions and the poster is right the dynamic of BNV has changed drastically and I personal think that the current numbers bare out that this was for the better... but they are still entitled to their opinion nevertheless..
