Would it be viable to have a week were only positive threads are allowed onto BNV?
A week where all negative threads are consigned to a sticky or something and only positive threads and general chit chat allowed?
Positive as in what IS happening rather than the usual threads detailing shocking and generally off putting info about our oppression in various countries? Prehaps it could be a week where people are encouraged to post positive information?
For example, Snoop Dogg gets cussed on this site for making derogotary (sp) music. Apparently. No one knows that he is actively involved in an anti gangs campaign againt the crips and bloods. Think he even started it in the first place. Fact is theres so much good going on but we get played completely, ''oh there are so many young black men in jail''... fact is there are more in college and university becoming doctors and what not but our focus is off.
In fact its something I'm tired of in general, fine when people of other races seem scared of me as I walk into their shop after having a bad day but its worse when I notice I'm being talked down at by elders when I go to check out various events or group meetings, flapping their arms, slouching and talking some language they think is slang or generally looking at me as though to say, ''What are you doing here''. We've become our own worst enemy in that way herding ourselves into apathy thinking its all doom and gloom when the fact is that no one has any power over us except for what we give them.
I know this isn't an organisation or anything but it just a thought...

It's a lovely idea Apedemak  but on face value it does seem unworkable or hard work!
