Wow, you both are thinking bigger and better than I am! What you're suggesting would really set the tone. The venue might be a problem then because we would need a room bigger than the (free!) one I had in mind. 
I was thinking of fundraiser events for down the line but maybe even the first one could kick things off in style. Although I don't want to think too big too soon?

Nah not better were starting to bounce off of each other and OPEN UP TO WHO WE REALLY ARE... whoo hoo!
I was driving to work early this morning and i was thinking about how we could register as a charity in this country, whats involved do you reckon? i know that taxpayers can donate their bit to us and claim it back or something... or is it better to stay away from that side??
when this kicks off, can you imagine the things we can do? the world is our oyster.. we can do for our people whatever the heck we want!!!

we need to elect commitee members... say four concious members who will look after the admin side.....erm.. i dont want to go into it too much here ill do it by pm come to think of it there could be racist hijackers about.....
edit: fundraiser event sounds absolute off the hook & Chain we should plan this 5, 10, 20, 30 years ahead!!!
1) we need a bank account..
2) mods can we have a private forum for vetted donating members? i am ready and waiting to give bank details as soon as were off the ground..( and change my username to my real name)

Any chance we can we get a little more central than London?... erm... not wanting to be a party pooper, but guessing I'm being sameway, but... is an 'in person' link-up necessary just yet?... I'm a bit of a slowly slowly type, and thought using a paid-up forum to sort out initial plans and structures was a really good idea... it saves on all the venue/travel/time hassle (not to mention the entertainment distractions, LOL) and means we could take decisions and actions forward sooner?... the entertainment sounds nice, but its hardly an essential to an actions groups first meeting... Sorry if what I'm saying is out of date coz things are already happening via PM without me... let me know where you're up to...
