This is a bit late but just wanted to welcome you guys back. (You made me register just to say this and I didn´t know exactly where to put it). But just a little encouragement from this side of the world. I was a bit perturbed when the forum disappeared for a while.
Met some folks here in Brazil from London who are aware of and appreciate the site. A young Nigerian sister who, as she tells me, used to help produce some reality show and is now doing her own thing. Good people.
Anyhow folks...kinda busy...but I´m always hanging around.

I´m glad that I didn´t get one of those 'welcome new members' thingees. I´m always checking in...followed the subway bombings closely on this site...but I´m using internet cafes now-a-days and only linger about 30 minutes or so...max.
But since meeting Delroy and a few other Brits at a Black History Month program in 1999 I´ve always liked the mission of Blacknet and sister sites that of the afrogermans (http://www.isdonline.de). The Blacknet presentation was a big impetus for the development of the site for the community in Germany.
