I was wondering if I am the only one here that looses text when a smiley is inserted either between text or directly at the end of text?  I have learned my lesson but man I was pissed on occassion when I have forgotten and did it again.  Is it just me or does this happen to others?

The thing is to highlight and save everything you are about to post just before you press send.  That way if it messes up for whatever reason (so many different variables) then at least you still have it and can alter and retry.

A lot of people have problems copying and pasting from different word processor programs but I have no idea which are the incompatible ones.  Notepad usually works well for me.

yes - that happens to me at times and it is very annoying. I havent figured out how to "undo" the smiley and get the missing text back!

I guess - you just have  to be careful where you insert the smiley niceone.gif

Good luck

Thanks for the responses......I will be copying my text from now on before I add a smiley or hit send.
