To be honest with you I vowed I would never work a 9-5 again ever because of my goals to become a writer. HOWEVER it's been practically a year since I decided to follow my dreams as a writer. Don't get me wrong it is something I very much intend and is still in the process of pursuing but between the writers block and all the other complicated things I have going on in my life...I need the green, if ya know what I mean!!!
Anyway yesterday I was talking to a friend telling her how I need to get some money in my pocket, quick. She gave me a referral to this company (I won't say the nature of the business due to the growing Stan/Stalkers/Haters/I Don't Really Know Who I Am promblem there seems to be on the web.) Anyway it was quite weird because I unintentially wore this really afrocentric outfit. I had on this long Egyptian-like bellowy skirt that hung above my ankles topped of with a long white knitted sweated that stopped short just below my thighs. It was topped of with these really nice African silver earring and necklace set. My hair was pulled up in a ponytail. I had a cute little nappy looking afro puff(all mine) sitting on top of my head. Everyone told me I looked really cute. When I got to the place, I was surprised to learn that the place was muslim owned. I went there around 10:00am today and by 11:00am they told me to come back tomorrow for orientation. How about that???
