Given the rambling of BT I would be surprised if he would let you get a way with that PM!!!
They could always join the Scouts!!!! Go to Sunday School or do the Duke of Edinburgh Award sounds facist to some but has sparked an interest in many others.
Personally, I think that once one starts saying this is a Black thing and that is a white thing you start to limit ones options of development and experience within the environment they live in and have access too.
Good luck pyro. I for one cannot be bothered.
A Good friend of mine a Black Male was a teacher in state schools for a while and when he told me of the abuse he recieved, namely by Afro Caribbean girls supported by their parents, it put me off, he decided to teach in the Independant sector where pupils were more motivated to learn.
I don't subscribe to the idea of putting "Something" in the Community as it implies you got something out if it in the first place. With one or two exceptions we don't owe our community a thing.

If we did not have martyrs that endured despite opposition, as black people, we would not be where we are today.
The struggle continues and if one day I can influence one child to escape the ghetto mentality, then his/her children will subsequently be an influence within the community, just by being themselves... not ghetto!

It's you're by the way, I hope you teach better English than that mate. I don't get offended, people are by their very natures evil and we do evil things. It's nature of the soul, and it cannot be changed. Why would I be offended by nature? A lack of understanding would be the right answer. Evidently I have it to some degree.

What in the social gutter, where the women are unhappy, and the men equally so, but also alienated, plus divided, and in the middle of a gender war almost looking at things. I don't see how being socially and financally enslaved is getting anywhere to be frank. The kids know that. They already live in this stagnant society. They see it, they smell it, they taste it, and consequently treat each other like sh*t, what hope do they have, your positivity? The kids like Rap Music for godsakes, that isn't happy music for the most part. If they were inspired by positivity then they wouldn't listen to the stuff in the first place..And people wouldn't keep making it.
Black kids, nay, just kids stabbing each other surprises you, shocks you huh? You want to help? Plenty of kids especially males commiting suicide as well, a pretty high figure. Want to know how much money the various governments in the west spends on trying to sort out this Western phenonemen? Squat that is what, nothing. But of course plenty of money is spent on girls with eating disorders, and rightfully so I might add. Isn't equality great. Liberalism at it's best....feeding one and letting the other starve ironically, while demonising them at the same time..

Ahh, now I see, you want to be a Martyr. Like I said elsewhere, people don't want friends they want fans. They don't want to help they want to be worshipped and their names to be known. Like I said people are evil. Wisdom is foolishness to their eyes.
Well if you want to be a Martyr you can start by teaching the kids this.
Just because a man has a Penis it doesn't make him a man.
And just because a woman has a Vagina it doesn't make her a woman. Then you might get somewhere. Have you ever asked a child what it takes to be a man or a women, are you even curious as to what their answers would be?
Are you going to teach kids how master their emotions, when you can't even master your own? most people can't in the first place let alone kids. Education without emotional control is next to pointless, it's their lack of emotional control that hinders their education in the first place. So you have difficult job ahead of you.
First you need to become a man as well. Then I won't be talking rubbish just pointing out the reality around you. That degree has made your ego big, clouded your mind and blinded your eyes. You lack the capacity to change the very nature of people, especially since evidently you can't even change your own. It's not education those kids need, it's their very natures that need changing. Can that be done, no. People will always do bad things to each other and themselves.
But hey don't take my word for it.
I'll keep talking rubbish. i.e pointing out the obvious. Like this, It's kinda pointless for someone without kids to even try to teach kids. I mean you even lack the initiative to find out about how to tutor kids yourself, you had to come here and ask complete strangers, so that they could point out the way for you. Did your degree teach you that, to be completely dependant on others? Yes it did actually. They all do that.
Did real martyrs Malcolm X or King, or anyone else go around asking people how to inspire millions of African Americans? No they just went and did it, Why because they were real men of character with intelligence, ideas, instinct, and initiative. Now were they were men that changed the nature of people? No, did they know how get people to channel their energies, their anger in the right direction, yes they were..
Don't recall them being positive and chirpy people in doing so either. Happy speeches are seldom remembered.
Any idiot wil tell you most men and perhaps women, are more easily inspired by anger, and in fact all movements in life that has survived until today even were inspired by angry people. Skillfully channelling people's attention to the things of this world that should be attacked.
Kids don't fear many things thesedays either, maybe they are already angry, which is the case since they direct their anger at each other for the most part. Now if someone came along and directed their anger towards the proper channels however...good things will happen, because they have a right to be angry with the world. They need to be told to fight the world and not each other. Currently they lack the direction so pretty much fight each other, form gangs, and fight other gangs too, it's not just something people grow out of either. So being directed to form one big gang and be angry at the government that has deprived them of a decent life might get them somewhere. But hey the grow ups can barely do that. They look at us and think? what is their purpose, do they even have any?
Get an education, be positive, isn't going to inspire many angry children, because even they can see that it won't make them happy anyway, all the adults are miserable for starters and for the most part do nothing about it.

And (conjuntive joins a sentance not starts one) what exactly is it( unnessary use of a pronoun) in PM's post that your surpised (spelling mistake) I would "let him get away " (quotation mark in the wrong place) with. (The sentance is a question so where is the question mark?).
You mental midget of a Slave. I take it that your grammar (above) is using Jamaican not English.
Stick to D.J (but give up your Day Job as a Poet, it helps to have a command of the English language).

@Peacemaker - It's a good point you raise. Energy must be channelled. You seem to have a lot, but wish to channel it at me for some reason?
Incidentally, Malcom X was inspired by many and sought help from many sources, as do most of us at one time or another.
You believe in good and evil? Thus I assume you believe in a God of some description. Maybe this is the reason you believe that paths are chosen for us by some higher force, that black kids are doomed and nobody can help?

Education - Reference African Immigrants in the U.S
African Immigrants in general have the highest educational attainment of any immigrant group in the United States with higher levels of completed education than the stereotyped Asian American model minority.[1] It is not only the first generation that performs well, as estimates indicate that a highly disproportionate percentage of black students at elite universities are African or the children of African immigrants. Many possess college degrees and have graduated with advanced diplomas in engineering, law, business and medicine from top institutions like Harvard, Yale, Cornell, University of Pennsylvania, MIT, Stanford, Columbia University, UC Berkeley, University of Virginia among others. Today most affluent Nigerians are concentrated in the field of medicine, however, many are employed in many Fortune 500 companies and/or self made entrepreneurs.
