A bootfair is where you gather all your old clothes, books, electrical goods etc together, put them in the back of your car boot and sell them at a market place full of other sellers doing the same thing.
What do you call this type of sale?

Ahhh, a swapmeet or flea market. Lot of people have yard sales as well. The best way to liquidate is to make sure everything is clean and fresh and price them to SELL.
No point in keeping a high price for something you dont want or use anyway. You will eventually throw them away for free so why not sell it for $5??
Wives have been know to take their husbands junk and sell at these events.

| what with this being the digital age, i was also going to suggst ebay, but then i figured it would be more hassle, with all the to-ing and fro-ing to the post office!! not to mention depending on customers to pay!
