Greetings all,
Do you know the difference between traditional investments and alternative investments? If you don't, I'm not surprised.
I've been in the investment business for 10 years and specialized in traditional investments for the first 4 years of my career. While working for a major Wall Street firm, I was fortunate enough to come across the right people who educated me on the importance of alternative investments. Needless to say, I spent the last 6 years specializing in alternative investments and helped many investors become financially "set".

Thanks for your reply.
Alternative investments, (Common sense investing!) are investments in commodities we are exposed to on a daily basis.
For example: As the world is experiencing a reduction in oil output causing higher gas prices, an alternative investment strategy would be to hedge against the rise in oil prices and buy crude oil in the alternative investment market. By the way, higher energy prices means inflation, therefore gold will be a wise alternative investment choice at this time.
This is just the tip of the iceberg with respect to advanced investment strategies in the alternative investment markets.
Lastly, a majority of the investment strategies I am currently using for my clients' investment portfolios are market neutral which means, their investments have a zero correlation to the stock market.
Hopefully this answers your question.
Ray

Same old comedians and their capitalist eploiting techniques. Pay for training of which u might not qualify, and even when you do and set up your business, their company owns the rights, the income and pay you at a certain range and you are trapped unless you are able to get more people in your company. One sucker left the UHURU Movement cus he thot this was the solution, hes now strugglign to even survive in a flat he stays in and hasnt got no business.
Please, if u r really concerned about the well being of Africans, take this away.
UHURU means FREEDOM!

Here here, NAT.
Nobody has any business getting involved in the stock or commodities markets who is not a professional.
But the guy who sells the seminar, the books and owns the brokerage always gets paid.
It’s a fools game. Might as well go to Vegas.

Thanks for your constructive criticism. Your comments don't surprise me as I've heard the same negative comments many times before. Feel free to give me a call so I can give you the names and telephone numbers of my thousands of satisfied clients. 202-904-2456.
I agree, in the investment business, you are absolutely "gambling" if you rely on the direction of the stock market to be successful. As I mentioned before, my strategies are totally market neutral which means, my clients DO NOT rely on the stock market direction in order to be profitable. Therefore, I am not "gambling" with their money.
Thanks,
Ray

You're deliberately being vague.
What market do you play ? -- The currency market, the commodities market ?
Currency and commodity markets are no less dangerous than the stock market.
Get a real job bozo.

I love it! You are eliciting the same exact response I get from non-believers before they become clients. Give me a call so I can also make you a believer. I'm not playing the markets, I'm using the same advanced investment strategies corporate executives have been using for years contibuting to their current financial status
To those with open minds, please don't share the same mentality as my friend who is content with his current financial status. Contact me so I can tell you about an investment platform that I'm adding to my website which will allow clients to place unlimited trades for free!
Thanks,
Ray

Good question. Hedge funds are considered risky because of the leverage allowed in alternative investments. For example, an ivestment that requires a deposit of 10,000 in the stock market only requires a deposit of $1,000 in the alternative markets. Thereofre, a $1,000 loss in the stock market would be a loss of 10%, ($1,000/$10,000) while a $1,000 loss in the alternative investment markets would be a loss of 100%. ($1,000/$1,000). This is why hedge funds and alternative investments are percieved risky. The way to reduce the risk is to de-levearge the investment in the alternative investment markets by depositing the same $10,000 capital required in the stock market. This way the risk is equal. You tell me why the average person believes hedge funds are for the "rich".
huzzah1, leave me your name and number on my website so we can talk. The disclaimer that you see at the bottom of my webpage is standard. Nothing specific to what I do. Just like a doctor makes you sign a disclaimer about possibly dying before going into surgery. The disclaimer doesn't mean the procedure is going to kill you. It's their to make you aware of the potential risks? Make sense?

Uncertainty abound in every investment in the U.S. today. Think about the effects of a terrorist attack or corporate mismanagement?
My Chinese lady lost over $700,000 in 1997 trading and investing and has not fully recovered.
The only way I will invest is if I am part of those senior executives running the company or have enough money to waste.
That's why I will never trade any stock but retail my African products.

| Don't be afraid to invest in stocks! There are many people making money and not all of them are insiders. Just gotta know when to get in and when to get out... Decisions, decisions... it's all a part of the game. BIDU is a great gamble... Google is a gold mine. Starbucks just split, and now could be the perfect time to get in. I could name a few others but without your own due dilligence it would mean nothing.

i need to take a look at this website, but reading the responses in general there is nothing wrong in investing you just need to know that low risk can get you a little bit of money but not a lot. medium risk will get you that much more and high risk is like hitting the lottery and can be a gamble if you haven't educated yourself financially.
I'm currently educating myself financially and it's not easy because a lot of it is boring, but I am keen to make money on my money.
There is a book to read called Rich Dad Poor Dad. I recommend this to anyone. Even if the story is not true (like some people argue) the idea behind it is excellent.
