Is there a benefit over sending an ordinary email which works fine? If not it wont catch on.

Its has already caught on in the States and since July this year when it was made available in the UK the interest has been wild. For businesses they can save money and time on marketing campaigns and just send emails to their clients. For example two of our latest customers are estate agents that have alot of overseas customers. Rather than a virtual tour that provides 360 degrees they offer a virtual voyage email which is real undistorted camera footage. This reduces the amount of time wasted doing viewings and enables the agent to easily give properties wider coverage. A huge return on investment. On a personal basis video email is warm compared to cold text email. Family and friends can see and hear their loved ones over long distances and all is needed is a webcam.

I've heard of this.
With mobile phones streaming video through 3G i just don't quite get the point. Even MSN have video streaming and its free.
If you're looking for an internet revolution VOIP is about to really take off... BT are running with their tails between their legs trying to set themselves up to follow suit but cheap/free calls are on their way.

Hey New Age Warrior,
When I first joined I thought that that there was no way such a service could be so unique. It is unique because more people have internet access globally than have 3G mobile phones. According to Forrester Research there will be more than 1 billion people on line by 2007 with more than 300 million new email accounts created. Video mail can be sent anywhere in the world with a net connection 3G cannot furthermore it is very expensive. MSN dont have "streaming video email" they have an application which you have to download that enables you to watch streamed tv shows and ads our product does not need to be downloaded, also with ours you can chat to up to 4 people at the same time without having multiple windows open.
Furthermore by using MSN and 3G you are promoting their product but not being paid.
VOIP is brilliant and most companies offer it for free. Remember that it only enables you to do voice calls. According to the Aberdeen Group:
55% of a message meaning is derived from facial expression
38% of a message meaning is derived from gestures, body language
People remember:

20% of what they hear
30% of what they see
50% of what thay see and hear together
And 80% of what they see, hear and do
One of the customers that signed up yesterday was a club promoter who wanted to email people on his e-list snippets of the lastest event. He wants to show those that did not attend what they missed out on.
Hey guys I'm in a funny mood so I'm gonna post five codes that will enable you to use the video email for free for a month. The first five people to get their hands on them can email friends and family or work colleagues and see what response they get. You will need a webcam or a video camera to upload footage (note footage on the free trial can only be 3min long and for video camera footage must also be below 20MB). Inter-resting.
Funnilly enough I've seen adverts for this in The Daily Mirror or was it THe Finanical Mail. Either one of the two... or both. The ''Hello-World'' part rung a bell as its the motto for another telecoms company, might even be Motorola or O2... Looks like you do VOIP as well!
My computer is running at an unbeliveably slow rate... Stupid Microsoft...
Can you explain how you make money from this?
I'm guessing its MLM or Network marketing.
How much have you made personally and do you 'employ' any other agents?

For those that don't know MLM is where companies rather than do million pound marketing campaigns offer people the opportunity to make money by marketing for them. Some may make the analogy to "active shares" you are responsible for making your "shares" work by actively marketing. The company then gives you a slice of the pie for all the business you bring in. With http://www.hellovideostream.com for the customers you bring in you are paid every month, for the affiliates you introduced you get paid not just on their enrollment but on a 3x8 matrix of their achievements. Another thing to note is that with this company you are in business for yourself but not by yourself (catchy). Three times a week there are live webcasts from other affiliates giving you tips and pointers and these are archived so you can revisit them, there is live help and there are video tutorials.
Since the end of July I have made around £2100 taking costs into consideration. I must tell you that this is not a "get rich quick scheme" it requires a little consistent and concerted effort. However much of the work can be done in your down time. For example I abandodned my old email account and started emailing people from my new video email account which got alot of curious friends and family asking questions. Straight away I had both customers and affiliates enrolled. I still try and send out at least three video emails a day.
Two friends originally were customers but switched to affiliates because the people they emailed kept asking how they were sending video email. Rather than keep sending business my way they wanted some of their own. Another way I work is to pass people a business card if I'm out partying or in the pub. I just litter the place. A cousin of mine is an exercise freak he jogs all the time whilst jogging he pops into newsagents and puts post card ads in their windows. As university is starting soon I will get my little cousins to spread the word at uni when they start up again. I'm sure there are a lot of other ways to market in down time.
The common denominator of those who have had success is that as soon as they enrol they all hit the ground running if you want the mountain to come to you then this is not for you.
